Tailor machinist — Ochiltree County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Ochiltree County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching Requirements: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Full-time with occasional weekends.
