The role involves: • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings 1+ years on the tools preferred.
