Your main tasks: • Lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound • Level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat • Measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting • Lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys Ideal candidate: • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish • Knowledge of epoxy resin filling and colour matching Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
