MIG/MAG welder — Vernon County

Now hiring: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Vernon County, Wisconsin. You will work on a structural steel site. Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Day to day you will tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
