You should have: • Sound knowledge of petrol and diesel engines • Able to read wiring diagrams and workshop manuals • Valid driving licence On a typical shift you will bleed the brake hydraulic lines and check pad wear; recharge and service the air-conditioning system; read fault codes and clear them after the repair; service and replace timing belts and chains; carry out wheel alignment and tyre balancing; replace clutch plates and gearbox components. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
