Trainee butcher • Franklin County, North Carolina

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Franklin County, North Carolina. You will work at a wholesale meat market. The role involves: • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Season and marinate meat on request • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools What we are looking for: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
