Vacancy available: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Sheridan County, Nebraska. The role involves: • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear You should have: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Rotating shifts. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
