Structural MIG welder wanted in Allegan County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Allegan County, Michigan. On a typical shift you will read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test 3+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
