Gas commissioning technician • Fluvanna County, Virginia

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Fluvanna County, Virginia. You will work on residential and apartment building sites. Ideal candidate: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration Day to day you will read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
