Track-type tractor operator — Borough of Bury

Vacancy available: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in Borough of Bury, England. You will be based at a land-clearing site. You will carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily. What we are looking for: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
