The role involves ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges.
