We are recruiting: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Passaic County, New Jersey. You will be based on a busy housing site. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage On a typical shift you will pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
