Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Edgecombe County, North Carolina. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. Day to day you will prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); carry out 6G pipe welds where required; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints. Ideal candidate: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
