Shuttering and concrete hand — Amite County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Amite County, Mississippi. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Day to day you will patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish. Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $4,500 per month, based on your experience. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
