Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Rio Grande County, Colorado. You will be based in a job-work machining unit. Requirements: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred The role involves top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; write and edit G-code programs at the control.
