You will hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep 3+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
