Great opportunity: port container crane operator (California)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Lake County, California. You will be based in a steel fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity Requirements: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Full-time, day shift.
