Shuttering carpenter wanted in Clearfield County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania. You will be based on a bridge and flyover project. On the job you will handle: • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
