Quality checker • Livingston County, Michigan

Great opportunity: we are hiring a quality checker in Livingston County, Michigan. You will be based in an electronics assembly workshop. Your main tasks: • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line You should have: • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection 3+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
