Join our team: we are hiring a general labourer in Clinton County, Michigan. The job is with a civil contractor. What we are looking for: • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day The role involves mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
