Offshore rigger • Cumberland County, North Carolina

Great opportunity: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Cumberland County, North Carolina. Day to day you will inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket 1+ years on the tools preferred.
