Vacancy available: we are hiring a tig welder in Greene County, Indiana. Day-to-day duties: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) Ideal candidate: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Own basic hand tools and PPE At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
