Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • ITI in welder trade or equivalent The role involves: • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
