Press shop operator • Orange County, Indiana

We are recruiting: we are hiring a press shop operator in Orange County, Indiana. You will be based in a sheet metal stamping unit. Day-to-day duties: • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses Requirements: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
