Production welder wanted in City of Charlottesville

Join our team: we are hiring a production welder in City of Charlottesville, Virginia. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing You should have: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding 1+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
