Furnace operator • Saint Francois County, Missouri

Vacancy available: we are hiring a furnace operator in Saint Francois County, Missouri. The job is at a brass and bronze foundry. You will skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. What we are looking for: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
