Now hiring: track-type tractor operator (North Carolina)

Join our team: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in Swain County, North Carolina. You will be based on a road construction project. The role involves: • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant 4+ years on the tools preferred. $20 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
