Site labourer wanted in Rockland County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a site labourer in Rockland County, New York. You will be based on a road and bridge project. Day to day you will bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour. Ideal candidate: • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
