You should have: • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings You will fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails; drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile.
