Great opportunity: we are hiring a milling machinist in Anson County, North Carolina. What we are looking for: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Able to grind and set HSS cutters Your main tasks: • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
