We are recruiting: steel fixing chargehand (Scotland)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Perth and Kinross, Scotland. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Your main tasks: • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover What we are looking for: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Full-time with occasional weekends.
