Urgent requirement: fabricator-welder (England)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Borough of Stockport, England. You should have: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings On the job you will handle: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required Overtime paid at a premium rate.
