Painter — City of Lexington

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a painter in City of Lexington, Virginia. You will work on a residential building site. You will prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer; sand and fill walls before applying primer; carry out snagging and touch-ups before handover; apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls; clean brushes, rollers and spray kit with thinners after each job; mix and tint paint to match colour swatches. Ideal candidate: • Skilled with brush, roller and spray application • 2+ years experience as a painter and decorator • Working-at-height / PASMA scaffold ticket an advantage On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
