Great opportunity: heavy equipment operator (South Dakota)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Lyman County, South Dakota. You will be based on an earthmoving and excavation site. Day to day you will stockpile and spread material to the required levels; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines. What we are looking for: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently Part-time with flexible hours.
