TIG welder • Greenville County, South Carolina

Great opportunity: we are hiring a TIG welder in Greenville County, South Carolina. You will run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks. What we are looking for: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Overtime paid at a premium rate.
