Now hiring: we are hiring a scaffolding erector in Middlesbrough, England. What we are looking for: • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Working-at-height / PASMA training an advantage Day to day you will fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform; dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely; set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground; erect debris netting, sheeting and brick guards; plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level; erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. We offer £1,800 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
