Garment machinist • Sevier County, Tennessee

We are recruiting: we are hiring a garment machinist in Sevier County, Tennessee. The job is in a textile and apparel unit. You will inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
