Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Burt County, Nebraska. You will be based on a structural steel site. Day-to-day duties: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise You should have: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Full-time, day shift.
