Long-haul driver — Lake County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a long-haul driver in Lake County, Michigan. You will be based at a container freight yard. Your main tasks: • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load What we are looking for: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Valid digital tachograph card • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
