Crane rigger • Calhoun County, Michigan

Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane rigger in Calhoun County, Michigan. The job is at a busy construction site. On a typical shift you will inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Full-time with occasional weekends.
