Join our team: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Lynn County, Texas. The job is at a busy construction site. On the job you will handle: • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills Full-time with occasional weekends.
