Urgent requirement: concrete placer (West Virginia)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete placer in Wyoming County, West Virginia. The job is on a building construction site. The role involves: • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
