Vacancy available: we are hiring a tile fixer in Clay County, North Carolina. You will work on a commercial fit-out project. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts Day-to-day duties: • Match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
