Gas metal arc welder — Riverside County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Riverside County, California. You will be based at a steel fabrication workshop. Day to day you will tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols. You should have: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety 6+ years on the tools preferred.
