Counter butcher — Spink County

You will run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
