Join our team: we are hiring a plant operator in Shawnee County, Kansas. You will be based on an earthmoving and excavation site. Your main tasks: • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Check for underground cables and services before digging Ideal candidate: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination 6+ years on the tools preferred.
