Catering cook • Sierra County, California

Great opportunity: we are hiring a catering cook in Sierra County, California. You will be based at a busy restaurant kitchen. Day to day you will marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen 4+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $4,400 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
