Tracked excavator operator wanted in Macon County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tracked excavator operator in Macon County, Alabama. The job is at a road and highway construction project. On the job you will handle: • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger What we are looking for: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control 1+ years on the tools preferred.
