Great opportunity: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Wayne County, Mississippi. You will work on a structural steel site. Ideal candidate: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety The role involves run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing.
