The role involves read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing. Ideal candidate: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
